Freelance Interpreter/Journalist/Media Coordinator, her career prior to becoming an independent entrepreneur includes a research librarian at German Institute for Japanese Studies (Deutches Institut für Japanstudien: DIJ) in Tokyo, then a full-time lecturer at the Section Japanology, Catholic University of Leuven (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven: KUL).

She works with major Japanese media and news agencies such as Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Kyodo News, NHK, TBS and FNN.

She has been involved in various European Commission projects as a senior coordinator and interpreter. In 2006, she organised an international symposium “The New Era of Carillon Art: How Bells Connect Belgium and Japan” at Royal Carillon School ‘Jef Denyn’ in Mechelen, as one of the official event of 150 Years Friendship between Japan and Belgium.
